Before and after care

Before waxing:

For the best waxing result, it is best not to shave or cut for 2 – 3 weeks; the best length is half a cm long (about the size of a grain of rice) when you come for your (first) waxing treatment. Preferably 2 days in advance, gently scrub to soften the skin and hair, so that waxing is even easier.

Come to the appointment fresh and fruity.

You can freshen up with us before the treatment if you have not had time for it at home.

On the day of your wax appointment, do not use deodorant or cream on the body parts to be treated.

In the salon:

For intimate treatments such as the Brazilian wax or bikini line, you will have to remove your underwear completely. You can keep your outer clothing on. I understand if you feel a little insecure, but the experience is that once you lie on the treatment table, that feeling quickly goes away. I am in no way concerned with how you look, I just try to make sure you feel comfortable.

Is waxing painful?

It is certainly not completely painless. It also depends on your pain threshold. You are also extra sensitive around menstruation, so keep this in mind when making your appointment.

The more often you wax, the hairs become thinner and fewer, making it less painful. Try to relax as much as possible during the treatment, the result is definitely worth it.

The first 24 hours after waxing:

- Do not wear tight or non-breathable clothing

- Keep your skin clean, only touch the treated skin with clean hands

- Avoids heat and friction

- Shower not too hot

- Do not go to the sauna or tanning bed

- Do not exercise or swim

After 3 days, scrub the skin 2 to 3 times a week (intimate parts with a soft scrub) and care for it (see home care products).

And very important, don't use razor blades anymore. Waxing is a process that you start over again by shaving.
